If a measurement data file fails to convert to an EveryMeasure stream, please review the Proper format for Stream. If the issue persists, try the suggestions below.
- If a data file is opened in Excel, it may interpret and convert the timestamp values to a different format. Confirm the file has the proper timestamp format by opening in VSCode, Notepad++ or a similar app that will not alter the data.
- When an excel document is saved as a .csv file it may include extra rows or columns that appear empty in excel. To remove the extra, empty rows or columns:
- Open the file in Excel.
- Select the row(s) or column(s) in excel by clicking on the row or column header. Note that selecting all of the cells in the row or column will not work, you must select the entire row or column.
- Right click the row or column header and select Delete.
