Purchasing a Group License
- Go to https://multisim.com/classrooms/create/
- Add the License Group name, # of seats, tier, the start/end date and billing details.
- Agree to the terms and disclaimers
- Click proceed to check out
- Complete your purchase via Stripe
Viewing your Group Licenses
You can view your Group Licenses under the Group Licenses tab item "My Group Licenses"
My Group Licenses displays a table of all of the Group Licenses you manage or are a part of. To view the details on a Group License, click the License Group name.
The License Group overview page shows the License Group tier, # of active seats vs. purchased, the time period, who created the group, the # number of members, # of discussions, and # of shared circuits.
Inviting/managing members and assigning licenses
1. Navigate to the desired Group License by selecting the Group License tab, the "My Group Licenses" menu item, and then the desired Group License from the table.
2. Click the "Invite New Members" button
3. This opens the Invite members interface. Enter the emails or alias's of the user's you'd like to invite. Please make sure the email address or alias is correct, otherwise the system will not send the invite. If you want to invite a user by alias, you will need to use the following format: @ALIAS (making sure to replace "ALIAS" with the username you would like to invite). Note that if you are inviting a user via an Alias, the user will already need an existing Multisim Live account.
4. You can also invite users by uploading a CSV of emails addresses. To do this, click the "Add emails from CSV button". Select a CSV file and select the column with the emails you'd like to invite. The emails from that column will automatically be added to the invite list. Click the "Send invites" button to send the invites.
5. Click the "Admin" menu item to see a list of pending invitations. You can cancel a pending invitation by clicking the "Cancel" button by the desired pending invitation.
6. To manage Group License members who have accepted an invitation, click the "Members" menu item.
7. Here you can remove members from the group and revoke or assign licenses to group members without a license. You can also manage which members have admin access.
Updating a group license:
1. Navigate to the Group License you'd like to update
2. Select the "Admin" menu item
3. Click the "Update License" button
4. Add seats or extend the Group License expiry date. Added seats will be charged based on the remaining time and the expiry date.
5. Click the "Proceed to Check Out" button
6. Complete your purchase in Stripe
Renouncing a Group License
1. Navigate to the Group License you'd like to renounce.
2. On the Overview menu item, click the "Renounce License" button
3. Confirm you'd like to renounce your Group License
4. Note, that renouncing your Group License only remove the Standard/Premium entitlements for your account. It does not remove you from the group. To leave the group, go to the members section and click Leave Group.
